Your Opportunity
As an Internal Technical Specialist, you’ll be the go‑to expert for technical guidance, product recommendations, and tailored quoting solutions within the Mega Mining customer segment. You’ll bring strong problem‑solving capability, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of technical quotations with urgency and accuracy.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver outcomes that enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen our commercial relationships. Your ability to interpret technical descriptions, recommend alternative solutions, and uphold Blackwoods’ values will set you up for success.

What You’ll Be Doing
Provide advanced technical advice and product recommendations to internal teams and customers
Deliver accurate, timely quotations aligned to customer specifications
Support solution‑selling through strong product knowledge and commercial understanding
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products, innovations, and industry developments
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
Manage high‑volume quotation requests with speed and precision
Support general Customer Care duties within agreed SLAs
What You’ll Bring
Trade qualification OR 3+ years’ technical experience in an industrial category
Experience within industrial MRO or PPE markets (advantageous)
Understanding of call‑centre operations (advantageous)
Strong technical knowledge and ability to recommend parts/solutions
Excellent problem‑solving and investigative skills
Ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen (pricing, margin, profitability)
Solid Microsoft Office capability and ability to quickly learn new systems
Proactive, solutions‑focused, and a positive contributor to team culture
