Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative support, including managing international correspondence, preparing reports, maintaining records, and organizing meetings and travel arrangements for international projects and client interactions.
Assist in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of international projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables.
Act as a key point of contact for administrative and logistical matters for international clients and partners, particularly those from Mandarin and Cantonese speaking regions.
Provide interpretation and translation services (written and verbal) in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English for administrative documents, project-related materials, and internal communications.
Support the logistical arrangements for international client visits, events, and collaborations in the UK, including accommodation, transportation, and meeting facilities.
Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation for international projects and client engagements.
Maintain and update databases and project-related information.
Facilitate communication and information flow between UK-based teams and international partners on administrative and project matters.
Provide cultural awareness support to internal teams involved in international projects and client interactions, highlighting key cultural nuances relevant to effective collaboration.
Assist with general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of international activities.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in an administrative support or project support role, preferably with international exposure.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) and excellent command of English. Proficiency in Cantonese will be desireable.
Good understanding of project management principles and administrative procedures.
Cultural awareness and sensitivity regarding business practices and communication styles in China/Asia and the UK.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project - if applicable).
Experience in the education sector or supporting international individuals/projects is desirable.
A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, Languages, or a related discipline is preferred.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
