Position Overview:
Kent School is seeking a motivated and flexible International Admissions Officer to lead recruitment efforts. This part-time, remote or in-person role( Flexible, Remote with potential travel) focuses on attracting students from Mexico and other international regions who aspire to pursue high school studies in Canada, as well as engaging with local Canadian students. The ideal candidate will work independently, promoting Kent School as a leading educational destination while ensuring accessibility for prospective families and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute targeted recruitment plans to attract both international students, particularly from Mexico and other regions, and local Canadian students.
• Represent Kent School at virtual events, online recruitment fairs, and in-person events as needed.
• Build and nurture relationships with educational consultants, international agencies, and schools in target regions.
• Serve as the main point of contact for prospective students and families, offering guidance throughout the admissions process.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop recruitment materials and campaigns tailored to diverse audiences.
• Evaluate applications, conduct virtual interviews, and make recommendations on admissions decisions.
• Stay informed on international education trends, visa requirements, and best practices in remote recruitment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in student recruitment or admissions, with a focus on international and Canadian markets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with high school education systems and international student needs is preferred.
• Flexibility to attend occasional in-person recruitment events if required.
Compensation:
Salary and KPI rate will be discussed during the interview process.
