Full job description
The International Admissions Officer role is responsible for managing and ensuring the accurate processing of international student applications, enrolments and providing support to recruit new international students for Navitas Careers & Industry Division’s university colleges and partnerships. This includes assistance to international teams to enable them to engage prospective students and convert them to enrolments by supporting; CRM records; student documents; reporting requirements and enrolment processes.
The role is responsible for accurately assessing international student applications with thorough review of documentation, including additional investigation where necessary. This process will occur in collaboration with the relevant Sales and Admissions team, students and their agents (where applicable) with the intention of providing high levels of service while ensuring our institutes maintain their status as a low-risk education provider (minimising student visa rejections) and remaining compliant. The result being the generation of offers and confirmation of enrolments for applicants to support each trimester enrolment target at each campus.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the maintenance of student records and reporting in the CRM and Student Information System (Salesforce, StudyLink, Navigate and Banner).
Process applications via Salesforce or StudyLink, ensuring timely offers and accurate reporting within specified turnaround times (TAT).
Collection and organisation of student documents for enrolment
Completing the end-to-end enrolment process including issuing the Confirmation of Enrolments via PRISMS
Assess international student applications, verifying qualifications and ensuring compliance with Genuine Student (GS) and visa requirements.
Communicate effectively via email with prospective students, education agents, and key stakeholders.
Provide expert guidance on entry requirements, visa compliance, and academic qualifications, utilizing resources such as NOOSR, UK ECCTIS, and relevant international assessment frameworks.
Other ad-hoc administrative duties as requested by the business.
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in admissions, preferably in the higher education sector.
Strong knowledge of PRISMS and international student admissions processes.
Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce or StudyLink preferred) and student databases.
Understanding of Australian visa compliance regulations, including Genuine Student (GS) requirements.
Excellent attention to detail in data entry, document verification procedures.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, agents, market managers, and internal stakeholders.
Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex admissions cases.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
