What is the opportunity?

As a Settlement Analyst, you will settle or process all transactions assigned on a daily basis in a timely and accurate manner.

What will you do?

Have a broad knowledge of the ADP (Broadridge) systems, third party custodian systems

Be able to reconcile account differences and issues and articulate to the proper channels what the issues are

Have excellent communication skills in order to work with coworkers and internal clients alike

Provide a high level of customer service

Have the ability to deal with high volumes of trades to ensure settlement

Reduce risk and cost to the firm by escalating all potential issues to management

Be a team player who collaborates well with associates and management

Strictly adhere to all firm policies and procedure

Have proficient skills in Windows based products such as Outlook, Word, Excel

Have the ability to multi task in a pressured environment

Interface with various business lines and branches along with counter-party operations teams to rectify any settlement discrepancies

Have a strong knowledge of various products such as equities

Be available to work a 7.5 hour day (37.5 hours per week) +1 hour break, occasional overtime required. Within North American business hours (8am -5pm EST)

Required to know a minimum of one back-up desk

What will you need to succeed?

Post-secondary education or equivalent

0 – 1 year of relevant experience

Strong communication skills

Good computer skills

Ability to work independently and to solve problems using knowledge and experience

Good working knowledge of internal trading, account and settlement systems including: BPS/ADP, CITI Velocity, DTC, etc. where required
