This opportunity is a 12-month fixed-term role, providing cover for one of our team members who will be taking parental leave.

As a member of the International Student Services team, you'll collaborate to cultivate a supportive and student-centric environment. Your role will involve providing expert guidance on pastoral care matters to both internal stakeholders and visiting student/staff groups, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. With your excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service, you'll manage high-risk student issues and contribute to the seamless operation of our International Centre. The appointing salary for this role will be between $67,800 and $72,000, dependent on skills and experience.

The International Student Services Advisor role, reporting to the International Student Services Manager and will be responsible for:

Supporting international students from pre-arrival to graduation.
Providing timely, student-focused customer service.
Delivering pastoral care aligned with the Code of Practice.
Coordinating orientation and student engagement activities.
Maintaining accurate records and supporting risk management.
Collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
