Designation: IoT Manager

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the IoT team, covering architecture, connectivity, device management, analytics, and security.
• Promote innovation and continuous learning within the team, staying updated on IoT trends and best practices.
• Define project goals, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Create project plans, schedules, and resource strategies for successful project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and keep projects on track.
• Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Lead IoT solution design aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Oversee software, firmware, and hardware development for IoT devices.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers for a user-friendly interface.
• Work closely with sales and marketing to understand customer needs.
• Implement quality control processes for reliability, security, and performance.
• Coordinate testing efforts, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Manage deployment and transition to production for IoT solutions.
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Monitor project expenses and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and select third-party vendors and partners for IoT projects.
• Ensure IoT solutions follow security and data privacy best practices.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in IoT solution development, including hands-on work with IoT platforms, protocols, and technologies.
• Strong leadership skills, demonstrated by managing technical teams and delivering successful projects.
• Proficiency in IoT programming languages like Python, C/C++, Java, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of IoT architecture, protocols, and cloud services.
• Expertise in data analytics and machine learning.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders
