Project Management
Procurement
Finance
Key Dates: Please note that this internship is office based, and you’ll need to commit to being in Wellington across the below interview and programme dates.

Applications open: Tuesday 7th October

Along the way, you’ll explore different career pathways and discover where your strengths can take you.

You’ll be paid above the living wage ($30–$35/hour), work alongside experienced mentors, and be part of a programme designed to build your confidence, capability, and career clarity.

What You’ll Gain

Real-world experience in a professional environment that values learning and growth.
Mentorship & support from people who care about your development.
Networking opportunities with leaders and peers across Parliament.
Insight into public service, practical experience and how your work can make a difference.
A platform to share your values — whether through community work, church involvement, or personal passions.
As part of your internship journey, you’ll get the chance to pitch an idea that matters to you — something relevant, insightful, and uniquely yours.

You’ll bring that idea to life in a presentation delivered to our key stakeholders. It’s your opportunity to showcase your thinking, your voice, and your growth. And yes — your mentors will be there to cheer you on!
