Job Description
Internship position is responsible for training within the organisation in various departments
It requires learning and understanding tasks within each area including all components of on-going research, data sourcing and analysis
Frequent professional communication and interaction with internal and external stakeholders will be required
An intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable and broad experience in the defined areas of interest and receive mentoring and coaching from experts working across the organisation
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in writing research reports, briefing papers, editing research articles on a variety of different subjects pertaining to the organisations current projects;
Assist in gathering and analyse data collected through pilot projects, and report on findings;
Research and investigate information from a variety of research sources;
Analyse numerical and statistical data utilizing standard spread sheet and database tools;
Contribute to reports for internal and external publication
Requirements:
Familiarity with and experience in using qualitative and quantitative research methodologies including primary and secondary research
Demonstrated aptitude and experience in computer skills including use and understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly with various personnel to share/ gather information
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
Effective time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple tasks, projects and priorities
Professional and positive attitude
