Pay Rate: £28, 875.+4 - £30,080.74
Grade: RCS N Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7, rotational 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm
Location: Doncaster - DN8 4HT
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an Inventory First Line Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
• To plan, supervise and report upon the work activities of the Stock Control Team
• Ensuring the daily activities of the Stock team are completed in a timely manner
• Supporting the customer with any stock queries and investigating stock discrepancies
• Communicating and monitoring KPI's within the team
• Conducting probation reviews, performance reviews, absence management and investigations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
• Experience in Inventory or Quality Control role is desirable
• Previous supervisory or people management experience within a supply chain environment
• IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems. Red Prairie experience would be advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
