The Role

As the Inventory Operations Manager based in our Sydney HQ office, you will be the beating heart of our product logistics coordination. From optimising inventory processes, ensuring smooth logistics operations, overseeing effective stocktake procedures, to managing relationships with warehousing and 3PL providers, your role is vital to ensure our retail leaders and boutiques have exactly what they need to deliver an exceptional red carpet experience for our beloved customers.

To be successful in this role you will be a process driven leader with a keen eye for the details, closely monitoring inventory movements to quickly address discrepancies and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Your mission is to streamline inventory operations that minimise risk, facilitate timely fulfilment, and maximise service quality standards at HB.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of the physical roll-out of stocktakes, coordinating and executing the process to ensure accurate inventory counts and reconciliation.
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with stocktakes, such as discrepancies, shrinkage, or inventory obsolescence, and develop mitigation strategies to minimise their impact on operations.
Review and optimise processes and procedures for all inventory movements, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Use data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management, generate insightful reports, and make data-driven recommendations for process enhancements and cost reduction strategies.
Oversee the relationship with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and warehouse facilities, ensuring smooth operations, timely fulfilment, and adherence to service level agreements.
Collaborate with 3PL providers and warehouse facilities to optimize inventory storage and distribution processes, minimise stockouts and overstock situations, and improve inventory turnover rates.
Lead regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure compliance with inventory management policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying factors contributing to inventory discrepancies or inefficiencies, such as process gaps, system errors, or human errors, and implement corrective measures to address them effectively.
Your Sweet Spots (About You)

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Proven experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) across multiple geographies
Experience managing high volumes and handling a large number of SKUs
Employee experience driven, communications expert with ability to provide positive and fast outcomes.
Positive and 'can-do' attitude, people and process orientated, and smooth operator (there’s nothing you can’t get done!).
Proven experience in fast paced working environment with high level of initiative - retail industry experience highly regarded!
Ability to understand, utilise, and drive compliance of company policies & processes.
Calm under pressure with proven ability to work within deadlines.
