This is a rare opportunity for a Police-employee to join the Waikato District Operations Support team. We are looking for a keen individual who can add value and support ISU/CJSU Investigations, prosecutions and case management.
The Waikato Investigation Support Unit (ISU) is responsible for the triage and Initial investigation of Category 4 criminal complaints, received by Waikato police while the Criminal Justice Support Unit prepares and completes prosecution files ready for trial.
Investigation support officers will pursue enquiries into a range of complaint types and engage with victims to ensure timely and efficient customer service.
As an Investigation support officer, you are expected to ensure efficient case management of investigation and prosecution files with a particular focus on ensuring victim contacts and reviews are up to date, risks are identified and escalated, and quality relationships are developed with external agencies
Key Accountabilities:
Delivery of quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Case management support to ISU/CJSU and other district workgroups as required.
Identify and improve systems and processes, ensuring efficiency.
Ability to prepare quality prosecution files.

Utu a-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $87,306 and $91,353 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
