Your New Role

Join the Aware Super Private Equity team as an Investment Analyst, where you’ll play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments with private equity firms globally. The team have a proven track record of developing high performing talent, offering an exceptional variety and breadth of investment opportunities, as well as international secondments. As an Investment Analyst, you’ll contribute to portfolio management, strategy development, and continuous improvement, helping deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns for members.

Identify, source, and lead the evaluation of fund, co-investment, and co-underwrite opportunities.
Manage end-to-end investment processes, ensuring partner expectations and internal requirements are met.
Contribute to negotiation of favourable terms with fund managers and advisors.
Support governance and monitoring of the investment portfolio, including oversight of reporting, data integrity, and analytics.
Contribute to the evolution of Private Equity strategy, industry research, and network development.
How do you exceed our expectations?

At least 2 years’ experience in either a front office investment role (private equity, infrastructure, credit, real assets, or listed equities) or advisory role (banking, transaction services, consulting).
Strong academic qualifications at tertiary undergraduate level; private equity investment and deal-based experience highly regarded.
Excellent relationship builder, highly organised, and adept at balancing competing priorities.
Deep curiosity, critical thinking, and strong analytical and modelling skills.
Team player with self-awareness, empathy, and a growth mindset; skilled communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
