Investment Banking Analyst

Position: Analyst Core Capital Advisors is a sector & stage agnostic Investment Bank focusing on fundraising and M&A advisory services to its clients. With the team’s 30+ years of diverse experience across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Consulting & Entrepreneurship, we are focused on providing integrated advisory to our clients. In a short span, we have managed to lead initiatives totaling INR 200 crores across fundraising and M&A for clients in Healthcare, Health-tech, Packaging Financial Services, Meat Processing, Retail & Technology space. Location: Delhi (Hybrid) Joining: Immediate Mandatory Criteria - Educational Qualifications & Experience: @ CFA / MBA in Finance / B.Com (H) or Engineering from Grade A school @ experience in equity investments (VC / PE) or investment banking in fundraising will be preferred Job Responsibilities / KRAs: • Lead origination (fundraise / M&A opportunities to advise) • Lead evaluation (including sector research, building sector thesis, detailed evaluation of the pitch-deck, MIS and business plans, interviewing founders / CEOs, competitive landscaping, enlisting targets (potential investors/acquirers), and doing soft-checks with a few targets • Creating high-quality collateral documents - Teasers, IMs & FMs • Creating a wide investor target list • Managing investors reach out and discussions • Providing analytical support through the post-term sheet stage up until disbursement • Regular updates to management on all aspects, including informal updates over WhatsApp and formal updates through structured trackers, IT tools, and emails. Desired Profile - Mandatory Criteria: • Should have experience in deal origination, deal evaluation, deal marketing as well as deal closure • Should have hands-on and high-quality experience in all the Investment Banking processes, including all the KRAs listed in the above section • Should have excellent analytical capabilities, oral and written communication skills, relationship building & relationship nurturing skills • Should have a good understanding of a few key sectors and business models within the broad space of tech and tech-enabled ventures. • Should be able to handle communications with relevant stakeholders in the ecosystem • Should have strong project management skills & experience • Should have strong work ethics and should be comfortable with tight deadlines and parallel execution on multiple threads • Should be able to collaborate remotely with multiple stakeholders • Should be able to travel at short notices • Should be a team player with high emotional intelligence
