About the Department:
The Investments team is responsible for investing the fund collected from unit holders to ensure adequate risk adjusted returns for policy holders. We invest in both debt and equity instruments and have a full-fledged research team which supports the Fund Management team in their investment decisions. We also regularly monitor our existing investments while evaluating new investments across various asset classes.
What are we looking for?
The Banking Analyst will be part of the Equity Research team and responsible for coverage of the Indian banking sector across both private and public sector banks. Based on regular interactions with company management and the sell side, the analyst is expected to recommend stocks to be included/excluded in the portfolio
What does the job entail?
a. Gather information on the company via Annual Reports,
b. Analyzing banking companies listed on the Indian stock exchanges
c. Interact with company management to understand the current business environment
d. Talk to sell side analysts to understand the views of the street
Essential conditions:
• Education: Post Graduate preferably a CA or an MBA(Fin)
• Work exp: 4-6 years of relevant coverage of Indian banking sector
• Work related skills: Good MS Office skills primarily in Excel and Word, Indepth knowledge of the Indian banking sector and various companies
