Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an Economics / Finance / Commerce degree looking to intern at a collaborative and entrepreneurial Investment Banking team in New Delhi.
Role & Responsibilites :
In this role, the intern’s core responsibilities will be :
1. Assist with the preparation of pitchbooks and financial models for the firm's current and prospective clients
2. Supporting firm’s business development strategies for target sectors / clients
3. Researching and approaching the shortlisted targets through multiple channels
4. Developing an understanding of sectors with high M&A / growth potential and support in outreach program
5. Based on the identified / shortlisted sectors, conducting sector-focused research and working on white-paper reports
6. Monitoring and documenting of ongoing VC / PE transactions and M&As and assess implications for the firm
Preferred skillsets :
This is a highly competitive role, and it requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities.
• Have a Bachelor's / graduate degree from a reputed college with an outstanding Academic record.
• Should have an interest in pursuing a career in Mergers & Acquisitions and Investment Banking.
• Prior internships / certificate course in Investment Banking will be a plus
• Prefer enterprising candidates who can manage multiple workstreams effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and has strong Interpersonal & Communication skills
• Should be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, energetic and decisive, with a
high level of integrity
Location : currently, the internship will be virtual / remote.
Period : 03 months (can convert to a full-time Analyst role)
