Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties
• Assisting senior DCM bankers in deal origination, syndication and execution and account opening process for debt and debt-related transactions
• Prepare business plans and pitch books to support the team in deal’s pitching and structuring
• Coordinating with country & sector bankers, syndicate and research on execution and marketing process, including investor meetings, management roadshow; acting as point person liaising with other professional parties, i.e. accountants, tax and legal advisers, finance PR, professional roadshow coordinating company, etc.
• Drafting documentations including engagement letters, market update, investors feedback, discussion material for live deal transactions, internal deal announcement and case study
Key Deliverables of the Role
• Deliver high quality work well and on time and manage multiple projects under time pressure
• Be an effective communicator, working closely with clients, other professional parties and execution teams to ensure deals are executed smoothly and transaction risks minimized
• Produce quality pitch books, valuation models and other analyses to support transactions and client presentations
Requirements
• Strong academic record, preferably with 1 year relevant DCM experience
• Advanced financial modelling and financial analytical skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A high level of attention to detail
• Team-oriented, positive, professional, strong work ethic and able to handle multiple projects/assignments at same time
• Have a strong desire to learn debt capital markets and be knowledgeable about the debt markets
• The ability to excel under pressure amid demanding deadlines
• The ability to perform effectively in a team environment
• High personal and professional ethic standards
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations
• A strong sense of personal integrity and teamwork
• A high level of energy and a keen desire to learn new concepts
