This paid internship position is for a Delhi and Mumbai based investment bank with a focus on startups and new age businesses. This is a full-time, hybrid (not remote) position.
Candidates who are based in Delhi or National Capital Region, can join immediately and are looking for at least 3-4 months of internship are encouraged to apply.
JOB DESCRIPTION

If you are passionate about venture capital, technology and startups, this opportunity will appeal to you. As an intern, you will have the exciting opportunity to assist the investment banking team raise venture capital for promising entrepreneurs. You will work with senior investment banking professionals on live transactions and will have to undergo a sharp learning curve towards deal origination and execution.
You will work with clients ranging from startups to venture capital funds. The ideal candidate will be an individual driving force initially that has to work with the investment banking team in all aspects of the fund raising cycle.
The position requires strong networking orientation, comfort with uncertainty, ability to play multiple roles and daily change. Operating in a small team environment with minimal supervision will require the candidate to be adept at dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with investors, funds and startups.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences and meetings with potential and existing clients.
- Support the senior leadership in research, preparation and presentation of reports and proposals.
