About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Researching different sectors and developing an investment thesis to form a view on sectors/segments that are likely to do well in the future along with appropriate rationale and pursuing such sectors to identify BD opportunities
2. Assisting the senior team with M&A/fundraising transactions
3. Working on the preparation of information memorandums, financial models, and pitch decks
4. Working on preparing marketing collaterals for investors
5. Understanding the financial statements of companies and helping present financials in the most appropriate way to investors
6. Assisting the senior team with business development
Key skills expected:
1. Hunger to learn and self-motivated
2. Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial attitude
3. Strong analytical skills
4. Ability to understand and interpret financial statements
5. Ability to work on multiple engagements and meet tight deadlines
6. Well-versed with MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/ etc.)
