Job Description
• Dealing in a variety of fixed income instruments, viz.
• Buy and sell, i.e dealing in fixed income securities like CPs, CDs, NCDs, GSecs, TBills, SDLs, TREps, CBLO, etc
• Provide market intelligence, analyze trends, and disseminate information to fund managers.
• Actively work with CIO/Fund Managers to analyze macro and micro economic relevant factors affecting movement of rates and pricing across tenors and credit profiles.
• Coordination with relevant internal teams like Finance, compliance, business, treasury, risk audit etc to ensure smooth functioning of the dealing and cash flow management operations.
• Understanding of the regulatory guidelines of SEBI/AMFI/IRDAI and RBI
• Dealing in accordance with the investment policy and operating guidelines, risk and regulatory framework
• Maintenance of appropriate dealing records for audit purpose
• Preparing meaningful MIS regarding daily market movements and share insights with the team on an ongoing basis Equity dealing.
• Cash flow management and dealing in the Overnight and term money markets
• End-to-end execution of trades assigned by CIO/Fund manager, including relationship with brokers, arrangers, and market counter parties for sourcing, pricing, and striking deals
Skills Required:
• Understanding of Macro and micro economic variables
• Understanding of credit risk and interest risk
• Well networked with market participants to gain market insights and feedback.
• Thorough knowledge of theoretical aspects of fixed income instruments and familiarity with relevant terms, viz. duration, credit, cash flow discounting, etc.
• Hands-on experience on using various dealing and operational platforms provided by CCIL, RBI, NSE & BSE like TREPS, CROMS, NDS-OMS, E-Kuber, RFQ, FTRAC, etc.
• Intermediate level skills in using MS Excel.
