PB Investment Risk & Analytics (IR&A) is responsible for review of first line of defense investment and fiduciary activities within PB. This includes performing deep-dive analysis of fiduciary activities, metrics, new business or product initiatives, and control activities Reporting to the team risk lead you will help us with fiduciary investments, products, control systems, governance, regulations, and best practices to proactively review the Business processes with an emphasis on the US and International Trusts & Estates businesses.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with other various other groups to identify risk issues in the T&E business and perform reviews into such areas to identify gaps and recommend risk mitigation strategies
Review, develop and enhance Trusts and Estates Risk Frameworks (procedures, guidelines, etc.)
Represent Risk in committees and/or meetings and review key risk issues, as appropriate
Aid in performing focused Investments-related reviews and other ad hoc projects
Keep informed of business and market trends and evaluate how these may impact the business
Work with technology to automate and ensure consistency in Risk metrics
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance Engineering or similar fields. Master's degree in Finance or similar fields will be preferred
Have work experience preferably in Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Audit, or related Consulting, with Private Bank-related experience through full-time or internship positions
Are analytically inclined, with knowledge of data visualization tools (ex. Tableau) or programming (ex. Python) being an added advantage
Appreciate the value of joining forces and working in partnership with others to accomplish our goals
Use your knowledge to find answers to pressing problems and create workable solutions
Can handle many different tasks and demonstrate a willingness to take on responsibilities that might lay outside your area of expertise
Preferred qualification, capabilities, and skills
Have Finance or Risk related certifications like CFA, FRM etc.
Have experience with Trusts & Estates
Have excellent presentation skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to deliver recommendations to multiple stakeholders and influence senior management
Are comfortable dealing with large data sets
