About the role:

Join Microsoft’s Small, Medium, Corporate and Channel Sales Enablement and Operations team as an Investments and Field Enablement Lead, where you will drive high impact investment strategies that help sellers meet customer needs and business goals.

You will manage the Area Win Room, a centralized investment process that supports sales teams across regions. From leading planning and governance to driving operational excellence and strategic alignment, this role plays a critical part in accelerating customer success and cloud adoption.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field OR equivalent practical experience.

4+ years’ experience in program management, sales operations, financial planning, or process improvement.

Strong analytical skills, with experience using data and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to support decision-making and reporting.

Preferred Experience

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate across Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.

Experience supporting field sales or managing investment/resource planning in a global or regional organization.

Familiarity with deal structuring, forecasting, or incentive-based programs that support customer success or cloud adoption.

Proven ability to design and scale operational processes, tools, and best practices to drive efficiency and enablement.

Experience preparing executive-level presentations, performance reviews, and storytelling through data.

Understanding of financial governance, compliance protocols, and working closely with finance and legal teams.

Responsibilities

Investment Strategy, Execution and Governance

Lead investment planning and execution across multiple regions, aligning activities to business goals and revenue targets.

Drive visibility and accountability through monthly reporting on investment performance using tools like Power BI.

Partner with finance and field teams to forecast large strategic deals, manage accruals, and address risks and variances.

Serve as a trusted advisor to account teams, providing guidance on investment enablement, process navigation, and compliance.

Program Management and Field Enablement

Design scalable, high-touch processes that support complex customer-supplier engagements from pre-deal through delivery.

Provide tailored insights and reporting to leadership on investment performance, blockers, and opportunities.

Collaborate with Sales Excellence, Customer Success, and Finance teams to share best practices, develop tools, and mature field enablement.

Lead business reviews and operating rhythms with sales leaders to drive alignment, performance, and continuous improvement.

Accelerating Impact and Stakeholder Engagement

Influence strategic investment decisions by advising on spend plans, removing barriers, and aligning funding to business outcomes.

Deliver measurable impact on cloud adoption and customer success through targeted investment strategies.

Build strong partnerships across internal teams to ensure field feedback informs program design and execution.

Champion a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer obsession in all aspects of work.
