Position Summary:
We are seeking an Investor Accounting Analyst – Loan Accounting to join a leading financial services organization specializing in commercial real estate (CRE) investments and loan servicing operations. This role supports investor and loan accounting activities, ensuring accurate cash movement, reconciliation, and reporting across complex loan portfolios.
Essential Duties:
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across cash and investor accounts.
• Execute cash posting and monitor fund movement activities.
• Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies at the loan level.
• Support remittance reporting and resolve variances.
• Assist with loan funding, purchases, and securitization accounting.
• Analyze high-volume transactional financial activity.
• Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external investors.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in investor accounting, loan accounting, or financial operations.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliations, cash posting, and transaction research.
• Experience working in high-volume, transaction-driven environments.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Knowledge of loan-level and transaction-level financial analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting or loan servicing systems.
• Understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $40 – 55/hour.
