Job Summary:
The Inwarding Executive is responsible for the efficient and accurate receipt and processing of all incoming goods at the Uni Seoul warehouse in Pune. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Goods Receipt:
Receive and inspect all incoming goods, including but not limited to, inventory, raw materials, and packaging.
Verify the quantity and quality of goods received against purchase orders and invoices.
Identify and report any discrepancies or damages.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of all incoming goods.
Inventory Management:
Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) accurately and timely.
Assist in conducting physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage and handling of all incoming goods.
Vendor Coordination:
Communicate with vendors regarding delivery schedules and any issues with shipments.
Resolve any delivery-related problems promptly and effectively.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment and ensuring its proper functioning.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations and customs procedures.
Regularly update and maintain the Management Information System (MIS) for the store. Ensure all data related to relevant metrics are accurately recorded and monitored for reporting purposes.
Prepare Inventory Reports
Generate and prepare regular inventory reports that provide insights into stock levels, stock turnover, and any other relevant metrics. These reports should assist in making informed decisions regarding stock replenishment and sales forecasting.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
6 months+ of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in inventory control or receiving.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
