Tell me about this role:

We are currently looking for an NV1 security cleared IRAP Assessor to join our team on a permanent basis. You will provide a range of advisory services covering security strategy, GRC and architecture. The successful candidate will possess a technical background to lead technical security assessment and review tasks.

What will I be doing day to day?
Lead and support client cyber security practices, providing cyber security risk assessments, advisory services to pragmatically address project risks
Conduct comprehensive security assessments of Defence ICT systems to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with IRAP standards
Develop and document assessment plans, methodologies, and detailed reports tailored to Defence requirements
Provide expert advice on security controls and risk mitigation strategies specific to Defence environments
Develop and maintain cyber security standards, specifications, policy & governance requirements for our clients such as (Essential 8, ISO 27001, NIST etc.)

What sort of skills do I need?
Experience within Defence environment
Knowledge of Defence-specific risk management frameworks and methodologies
Familiarity with various security tools and technologies used in Defence projects
Strong communication skills
Process orientated with good attention to detail
Australian citizenship and a minimum NV1 security clearance
