General information:
An IT Application Specialist will be a part of IT SCM Domain Team responsible for supporting and managing IT Services for Hitachi Energy Business. This person will take an end-to-end responsibility for support and managing of particular applications and will have a significant contribution to the current and future IT services delivered to the business.
Responsibilities:
Manage the run and build of selected SCM applications Knowledge of Supply chain management process, Source to Pay process Experience in ARIBA Supply chain collaboration. Nice to have SAP MM module knowledge. Coordinate work on resolution of incidents, requests or changes related to the relevant applications and support development of those applications Lead reviews of the status and quality of the applications/services with business representatives- Stakeholder holder mgmt Coordinate and implement improvements, keeping it aligned with the business needs and budget- Change Mmgt process Define and monitor necessary OLAs and SLAs Manage change backlog for applications and platforms, decide on execution of the changes in applications, plan software releases Build and maintain relationship with business representatives and vendors - Vendor mgmt. Coordinate workflow between development team, vendors, internal support
Your background:
+5 years of relevant experience Master degree in Computer Science, B-tech, MBA SCM, related Fluency in English is essential , excellent communication skills Experience in managing and maintenance of global IT applications Experience in working with IT Service Management concepts (ITIL) Understanding of technical and business aspects of an application Experience in cooperating with external suppliers in SaaS model, as well as custom build applications Experience in SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration is a very strong plus Understanding of supply chain processes, especially direct procurement Good organization, time management, decision making and negotiation skills Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and technologies ( procurement processes knowledge a strong plus) Willingness to take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery, independence, discipline, ability to work under time pressure
