Role Description
• We are seeking an experienced Legal and Contracts Head to join our team at Ishan Technologies.
• This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad.
• The Legal and Contracts Head will be responsible for managing all legal and contractual matters of the company, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing strategic legal advice to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and partners.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide legal advice and support to senior management on business operations and strategy.
• Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Liaise with external legal counsel as necessary.
• Oversee the contract management process, ensuring timely renewals and amendments.
• Develop and deliver training programs on legal topics for staff.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; Master's degree (LLM) is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in legal and contracts management, preferably in the ICT or technology sector.
• Strong knowledge of corporate and contract law.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide strategic legal advice and support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
