The Role
The IT architect will be responsible for assessing the business requirements, designing the best solution architecture, building and testing the functionality, and ensuring a smooth integration with other systems. Responsible for driving architectural and technical direction towards building best-of-breed, high performing, and engaging solutions driving Thermon's digital journey.
What You Will Do
• Develop Enterprise-grade Solution Architecture around Dynamics 365 ERP and integrations.
• Review and mature application development across the enterprise.
• Oversee technology upgrades.
• Lead cross-team collaboration across disciplines and with business partners.
• Design integration solutions and document the design in accordance with best practices.
• Work with development teams to architect, design, build, and implement application integrations.
• Analyze the business impact that certain technical choices may have on a client's business processes.
• Drive the fix and make recommendations on solutions for any technical issues as they arise.
• Continuously research emerging technologies and propose changes to the existing architecture.
Knowledge and Experience:
• 7+ years' direct work experience in an Enterprise Architecture capacity
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure and applications ecosystem
• Experience managing software development related projects in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Experience with enterprise applications, such as ERP, CRM, CPQ, eCommerce and ETL processes
• Some experience with database and operating systems, specifically SQL Server, and Windows
• Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools such as Microsoft O365, Dynamics 365
