IT Assistant
Nambucca Valley Christian Community School (NVCCS) is a thriving K-12 Christian School situated on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
We are seeking an IT Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will work in partnership with the IT team, teaching and non-teaching staff to actively support the Christian vision, ethos and policies of the School, while performing a range of IT related duties.
This is an ongoing part to full-time position 0.6-1.0 FTE (3 – 5 days per week). FTE and start date will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support
Provide first-line support for devices and IT equipment
Manage user accounts and passwords
Identify and report recurring technical issues
Device Management
Deploy and configure new hardware
Maintain and update software and systems
Perform hardware repairs and maintenance
Manage IT asset inventory and disposal
Documentation and Reporting
Create user guides and FAQs
Document IT procedures and configurations
AV Support
Assist with audio-visual setup for events
Equipment Management
Manage the loan and return of school equipment
Essential Criteria:
Adhere to work health and safety standards
Work cooperatively in a team, as well as autonomously
Prioritise and complete set tasks in a timely and organised manner
Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
Proficient computer, written and oral communication skills
Shows initiative and is self-motivated
Willingness to perform additional duties related to the role, within the capabilities of the IT Assistant as required
Applicants will be required to undergo NSW Working With Children Check, identification verifications and referee checks.
