Rabobank’s ANZ Internal Audit function is seeking an IT Internal Audit Manager. Based in Sydney you will join a highly engaged team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Audit Australia, this hands-on position requires you to leverage your proven internal audit experience to lead audits from the planning stage through to timely completion. While the role does not have direct reports, you will have the opportunity to utilise & guide Senior Internal Auditors as needed, providing coaching & support to ensure successful audit outcomes.
Top Role Accountabilities:
Manage the execution of IT audits, ensuring effective resource allocation to meet time, budget, & quality objectives
Develop strong relationships with management, senior management, & subject matter experts related to audits
Ensure effective & timely communication to stakeholders regarding findings, risks recommendations & progress of assignments
Support management in the process of analysing key risks & controls
Review adequacy of action taken by management to correct reported control deficiencies
Assist in preparing reports for Head Office, the Australian Board Audit Committee, the Senior Officer Outside Australia, & local regulators
To be successful you will have:
5 years’ + experience in an Internal IT Audit role within Banking & Finance
In depth understanding of IT audit methodologies & requirements
Good working knowledge of Australia & New Zealand regulatory requirements
Member of an appropriate professional body - Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA), CPA Australia (CPA), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)
An ability to establish, maintain & build relationships within a team & with stakeholders
An ability to communicate clearly & succinctly, verbally & in writing
An ability to influence & persuade others
An ability to analyse & solve problems
