Role/Job Title: IT Change & Release Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:
'The role holder will
- Execute the Bank's SDLC based Change and Release Management processes ensuring that there is no disruption or degradation of service during the lifecycle of the change.
- Manage communication around the entire change and release planning, conflict management for dependencies and prioirities.
- Ensure seamless implementation of changes and system releases through strong release planning, change coordination, system and user acceptance testing, release and deployment management in order to assert that a product or service is robust and capable of being released into the live environment without causing a disruption to services.
- Evaluate all requests proposing change to established and supported platforms, identifying, analysing and documenting potential risks or issues. Liaise with business and OEMs to capture, analyse and document requested changes against these platforms including the actions that will be taken to mitigate the risks identified.
- Provide oversight to the OEMs' approach to maintenance, change, incident and problem management and escalate issues and risks to senior management.
- Maintain Disaster Recovery plans and revise these when changes have been implemented in the live environment in order to ensure that the Disaster Recovery Plans remain appropriate and aligned to business and regulatory needs.
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities :-
- Management of issues and risks during the change event, and follow-ups after the event to ensure appropriate closure.
- Support Regulatory requirements related to change and release management
