Job Description
An IT Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day support of IT systems for business systems, office systems, computer networks, and telephony systems throughout the hotel.
What will I be doing?
As an IT Executive, you will support the IT Department in its efforts to ensure the quality and delivery of IT systems for both the hotel and its Guests. These efforts will be fulfilled timely, within budget, and in accordance with IT operating standards. Specifically, the IT Executive will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Financial Returns
• Assist in the creation of and work within the established IT department budget and control expenses
People
• Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
• Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.
Guest Experience
• To maintain the user activity on the server (login creation/GPO)
• Check various event logs in the servers and capacity utilization
• PMS , POS and other hotel related software maintenance and trouble shooting
• Interact with AMC vendor for hardware replacement.
• Maintenance of Backup and testing of tapes by restoring it
• To take active part in the running of the IT operations and interacts with other departments in resolving issues.
• Follow up on the pending issues.
Responsible Business
• Maintain and order parts and supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste and maintaining “green” initiatives.
• May be responsible for hotel security to minimise risk of theft, crime and other hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
