Make your mark as an IT Helpdesk Engineer Hub Services, where technical knowhow meets peoplefocused support. In this role, youll be the first point of contact for Hub Services colleagues needing IT assistance, keeping them connected, productive, and ready to deliver for our customers. Your work helps minimise disruption, maintain trust in our systems, and ensure a seamless tech experience across the business. This is a permanent full-time role based in tautahi (Christchurch).
Ng Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Mu | What You'll Do
Respond promptly to technical assistance requests via phone, email, or in persondiagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
Log all help desk interactions, track requests, and document resolutions to ensure transparency and effective followup.
Identify and escalate urgent issues to the appropriate technical specialists for timely resolution.
Follow standard operating procedures, including the use and administration of help desk tools and systems.
Prepare reports on support activities, highlight recurring issues, and stay informed on system changes.
Support a safe, inclusive, and collaborative workplace by rolemodelling the IAG Way and our Heart values.

Related experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and customer service.
Working knowledge of common software, hardware, and relevant technical equipment.
Familiarity with calltracking or help desk ticketing systems.
Strong problemsolving capability and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine focus on service.
Bachelors degree in an IT-related field (preferred, but not essential).
