Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in ETL Testing, Java, SQL, and Selenium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of software products. This role requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies, ETL processes, and automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Testing:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the highest quality of the product.
ETL Testing
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by creating and executing ETL test plans.
• Identify and document ETL defects and work with the ETL developers to resolve them.
Java Programming
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Java.
• Write and execute automated test scripts in Java.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
Sql
• Write complex SQL queries to validate data in databases.
• Perform database testing to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Work with data engineers to resolve any data-related issues.
Collaboration And Communication
• Work closely with QA engineers, developers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality test cases.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Provide detailed and comprehensive status reports on testing progress.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automation testing using Selenium.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and ETL testing.
• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with database testing.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with performance testing tools.
