We are currently looking for an IT Member Support Officer to join the team and provide timely and accurate IT assistance to SLSA Members, Volunteers, Staff and Stakeholders with a focus on quality customer service.

Job Description
Responsibilities:

Member/IT Support
Provide first point of support contact for External Customers, Members, Volunteers and Stakeholders
Provide first and second level technical support on SLSA systems
Troubleshoot issues through to resolution and/or escalate as required
Manage helpdesk tickets including ensuring proper recording, documentation and closure of tickets occurs
Ensuring the stakeholders are communicated with effectively throughout resolution of their issues
Work effectively with suppliers/vendors to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
Monitor performance of SLS systems, ensuring issues are reported, managed and resolved
Setting up accounts for new users
Testing of systems, new enhancements, updates, releases, new technology
Identifying and recommending procedure modifications and improvements to the helpdesk processes
Training
Providing on-site technical training to internal and external stakeholders
Providing virtual training in the form of webinars, videos and other use of technology and media for effective distribution of training materials
Documentation and Guides
Keep the help website and guide catalogue up to date ensuring that resources are easy to find and accurately represented
Ensure guides and documentation is kept up to date relevant
Identifying new ways to distribute guides and system resources to SLSA stakeholders and users
Desired Skills and Experience
Our ideal candidate will have:

1) Qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant experience in the areas of Information Technology and Customer Support

2) Knowledge and Experience:

Working knowledge of SLSA, it’s clubs and processes is strongly encouraged
Demonstrated interest in technology within SLSA
Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Use of or Management of support ticketing systems


3) Skills and Attributes:

Ability to communicate effectively with Staff, Stakeholders and Volunteers
Display confidence when dealing with people, with well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Communicate well with staff and suppliers, exhibiting excellent listening skills
Demonstrate high standards of professional behaviour when dealing with suppliers, staff and clients
Ability to investigate issues and requirements and identify and prioritise appropriate solutions
Ability to adapt and adjust to changing processes, constantly seeking process improvement
Ability to work flexible hours when required
Offer assistance to other employees in use of various technologies
Ability to build professional relationships with key stakeholders and staff
