IT Midrange Application Developer

We are seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join our Business Registry Interactions, Cyber and Service Management, Digital Delivery Solutions, and Income Tax and Platform Support teams.

As an IT Midrange Application Developer, you’ll lead the design, build, testing and maintenance of IT applications across the ATO. You’ll drive large and complex projects in relation to corporate programs of work.

You will provide high-level advice and communicate this effectively across a range of technologies and platforms. You’ll work with business partners across multi-client/multi-vendor projects, attend workshops and create technical documentation.

You will build team capability through coaching, training, and providing feedback. You’ll model and encourage others to adopt an agile approach and support a culture of continuous improvement.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Albury, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Sydney CBD or Wollongong. A merit pool may be formed and used to fill future similar vacancies in these locations and other locations within the same metropolitan area.
