Job Description
1. IT infrastructure management: Planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, such as the network, servers, computers, software, and hardware, ensuring high availability and reliability.
2. Software Applications: Selecting, implementing, and managing enterprise software applications, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, and other specialized applications that support business processes.
3. Business Intelligence and Analytics: Managing and analyzing data in a central database to generate meaningful insights and make informed business decisions, such as demand forecasting, sales analysis, production planning, and inventory management.
4. IT-enabled Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to automate and streamline processes using technology solutions, such as process improvement initiatives, process mapping, or lean management.
5. Information Security and Risk Management: Implementing security protocols to protect data, systems, and networks as well as developing business continuity and disaster recovery policies to mitigate potential risks.
6. Vendor Management: Managing relationships with IT vendors, analyzing vendor performance, and ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
7. Training and Development: Keeping IT staff updated on new technologies, processes, or systems as well as developing and providing training for end-users to maximize benefits of the available technology.
Overall, the IT & MIS manager plays a critical role in developing, managing, and safeguarding the IT infrastructure of AASRCPL. They are responsible for delivering on key performance indicators and ensuring that the technology services meet the necessary needs of the business, while maintaining high levels of service quality and adherence to IT governance policies and regulations
