Full job description

At AROA, our people come to work every day with passion and ideas that fuel our business and go home at the end of each day knowing they have made a real difference in the lives of others.

AROA, which is Māori for ‘understanding’, is proudly New Zealand born and based. Our specialized range of soft tissue repair products utilises our successful Aroa ECM biomaterial and is sourced exclusively from NZ sheep, (upcycling a natural byproduct, so it doesn’t go to waste!) We develop, manufacture, and export innovative wound care products, improving the lives of millions around the world by unlocking extraordinary outcomes for our patients.

About the role:

This role has a dual focus, with approximately 50% of time dedicated to delivering IT projects and 50% focused on providing ongoing support for core business applications. You’ll play a hands-on role in both improving systems and ensuring they run smoothly day to day.

In this role you'll work closely with PMO Project Manager and Director of IT in support the successful delivery of technical and business initiatives across the organisation. You’ll engage with stakeholders, manage key business applications, and help streamline processes that make a real difference in how we operate, while also supporting the delivery of our IT roadmap.

Other responsibilities include:

Project Coordinator: Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and communication to ensure successful and timely delivery of key projects while adhering to PMO standards.

Risk Management: Identify project risks and collaborate with teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies.

Business Process Improvement: Support workflow mapping and develop clear AS IS and TO BE documentation to guide improvements.

Application Support & Maintenance: Provide day-to-day support for key business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, EDI), including user management, troubleshooting, ticket resolution, and liaising with vendors or developers. Manage onboarding/offboarding from a systems perspective and deliver IT inductions and user training as needed.

Training & Documentation: Create and deliver training materials and documentation to support user adoption

What you’ll bring

You bring proven experience in coordinating IT projects or working in a similar role. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. You’ll have hands-on experience supporting business applications such as ERP, CRM, or other core enterprise systems like QAD, Salesforce, or Smartsheet. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is expected, along with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. You’re someone who can manage shifting priorities, balancing day-to-day operational support with strategic project work while maintaining attention to detail.

What’s in it for you

Based in Airport Oaks with easy access to the motorway, there is plenty of free parking available around our offices. We also have an annual wellbeing allowance, onsite gym, exercise classes and celebrations (including taking your birthday off).

The successful candidate will be working with a diverse and inclusive team that works hard but celebrates and recognises its people. We have a great time doing stuff that’s never been done before! You'll also be working for a mission-led company dedicated to bringing regenerative healing to people around the world. We’re sure that’s something worth being a part of!

To be considered for this opportunity you must have existing NZ working rights.
