The opportunity:
Fitness & Lifestyle Group (FLG) is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead technology and digital transformation initiatives that enhance member experience, improve operational efficiency, and support FLG’s growth across its clubs and support offices. Reporting to the Lead IT Project Manager, the IT Project Manager will drive the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects across digital platforms, club technology and enterprise systems, ensuring projects are consistently delivered on time .
In this leadership role, you will work with business leaders, club operations, technology teams and external partners to ensure solutions are implemented s eamlessly across a leading multi-site health and fitness network.
This is an exciting new opportunity for an a ccomplished IT Project Manager to lead impactful initiatives that enhance member experience, streamline operations, and drive consistent, high-quality delivery .
Key duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Project Delivery
Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and digital transformation projects.
Develop project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives .
Manage project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including operations, marketing, customer service, and finance teams.
Translate business requirements into technical delivery plans.
Facilitate workshops, project meetings, and steering committees.
Vendor & Partner Management
Work with external vendors, implementation partners, and technology providers.
Manage vendor performance, timelines, and deliverables.
Support procurement and evaluation of technology solutions where required .
Risk & Issue Management
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage issues and escalation processes.
Ensure clear communication and resolution pathways for project blockers.
Change Management & Adoption
Support organisational change initiatives related to new systems and technology platforms.
C oordinate training, documentation, and support resources for end users.
Ensure successful transition from project delivery into operational support.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the development of project delivery frameworks, templates, and best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve technology adoption and operational processes across clubs and support teams.
About you:
Essential
Demonstrated experience managing multiple technology or digital projects simultaneously of increasing complexity and responsibility
Experience delivering projects involving multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Experience working with third-party technology vendors and implementation partners.
Experience delivering system implementations, integrations, or digital platform enhancements.
Project Management or relevant Business certifications.
Desirable
Experience working in the health and fitness industry.
Certification in Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, SAFe , or similar).
Experience with digital transformation or technology implementations in service-based industries.
Experience working on Salesforce project s
Experience implementing member management systems, mobile apps, access control systems, CRM platforms, or cloud platforms .
Exposure to digital transformation or customer experience initiatives
Strong a bility to work independently and collaborate when needed
