Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Recruiter with a focus on the US market. The IT Recruiter will be responsible for full-life cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring technical professionals. The IT Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. They will also build and maintain a network of qualified candidates, develop job descriptions, and negotiate offers.
Responsibilities:
• Proactively source and attract highly skilled IT professionals across various specialties through various channels (online platforms, professional networks, etc.)
• Conduct initial candidate screenings, assessing technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Schedule and conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates, ensuring a smooth and positive interview experience.
• Negotiate salaries and benefits offers to secure top talent for our clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing ongoing communication and support throughout the recruitment process.
• Stay updated on the latest IT trends and technologies within the US and Canadian markets.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as an IT Recruiter with a proven track record of success in placing IT professionals in the USA and/or Canada.
• In-depth understanding of the IT recruitment landscape across North America.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and manage relationships across time zones.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working remotely.
• Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
• Familiarity with USA and Canada employment regulations and work cultures is a plus.
• Experience working within a Canadian time zone is highly preferred.
