Our client is a leading IT service provider based in Ghatkopar, Mumbai
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends global reach • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
• Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
• Recruit salespeople, set objectives, train and coach, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
• Oversee the sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Meeting perspective clients globally and able to present and explain our services to establish a relationship.
• Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Searching for new clients who might benefit from company services and maximizing client potential in designated regions.
• Coordinating effectively with sales/ delivery teams to develop new / existing business
• Capability to chase prospects / leads / opportunities by all means & lead to closure
• Exposure to sell IT/software services & dedicated resource selling
• Making technical presentations for how our services meets client needs.
• Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs. • Providing pre-sales technical assistance.
• Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required.
• Knowledge of complete SDLC of Software development projects
• Analyzing costs and sales.
• Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
• Come up with innovative solutions to the hurdles that confront us on a day to day basis.
• Collaborate with the team and communicate effectively within the team and with the rest of the organization as well.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration
• 3 - 4+ years in sales management within a corporate setting
• Proven track record of success the sales cycle from plan to close
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Superb leadership ability
• Ability to travel at least 20% of the time
