Business Development Executive Opportunity
A leading organization is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join their team. This role involves generating and qualifying high-quality leads in the Australia and New Zealand regions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling IT services, specifically in custom software development, web and mobile app development, AI, and digital transformation. They will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective clients through channels like cold outreach, email campaigns, and community engagement.
• Conduct initial discovery calls to assess lead quality and qualify potential fit based on predefined criteria.
• Schedule and hand off qualified leads to the business team for further nurturing and closure.
• Research target accounts, understand industry needs, and tailor outreach strategies accordingly.
The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients and navigate discovery conversations professionally. They will also be proficient in using CRM and outreach tools, with a willingness to work independently and meet/exceed lead generation KPIs and quality benchmarks.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in B2B lead generation or business development, specifically in software development agencies (mandatory).
• Proven success in qualifying leads and contributing to sales pipelines up to $1M USD annually.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with neutral, clear, and articulate English.
