WHAT YOU'LL DO
BCG is seeking a candidate for a Software Engineer role to be an integral part of our agile team. The incumbent for this role will help architect and implement technical solutions across the full suite of BCG’s systems integrating with other systems, optimizing the persona onboarding process and other initiatives. The candidate must be open minded and interested in continuous learning, while being curious and unafraid to ask questions. He/She must be willing to innovate and initiate change, discover new solutions and present new ideas. He/She must work well in a global team environment and collaborate well with peers and stakeholders.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
This position will involve daily collaboration with the architect and other development teams, vendors, stakeholders, and users throughout Agile design, development, implementation and operations of both infrastructure and business mappings. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
• Strong analytical abilities and creative problem solving
• Working independently with general direction and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Integrity and a positive attitude, especially while handling stressful situations
• Working with project stakeholders (technical as well as end users) to understand business requirements and implement solutions for diverse problems
• The ability to research viable technical and/or non-technical solutions, evaluate new technology and advocate, influence, and build consensus for innovations that satisfy business needs
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
• Overall 6+ years of experience in software design/Development
• Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders
• Expertise in .Net Core, Java, C#, Bootstrap, any Javascript frameworks
• Expertise in cloud native development.
• Experience in Micro Services Based design and Development
• Solid knowledge of technical web architectures (hosting, security, database, CMS, CDN)
• BS/BA degree, preferably in computer science or related field
• Experience with CICD Tools and Platforms
• Deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing cloud-based production, pre-production and dev environments
• Exposure to Agile tools like Jira, Confluence etc
• Exposure to multiple OS platforms like Windows, Unix, Linux etc
• Exposure to Mulesoft or Kong a plus.
