What will you be doing?
As a Project IT Engineer, you will be working alongside a talented team of IT experts and stakeholders to deliver the best possible results for our customers. As the IT engineer, you will ensure that our solutions are delivered according to the highest standards, while also collaborating with the IT architect, (lead) engineers, and the service desk.
Mandatory Skills:
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills
• 7-8 yrs. of exp in Windows and VMware administration
• Sound knowledge of server environments Microsoft Windows Server 2026) Client OS (Windows 10,11)
• Sound Knowledge of Virtualization, VMware ESXi 8.0 or above.
• Having expertise in Patching Windows & ESXi servers is mandatory.
• Experience with HP server and storage platforms would be an added advantage.
• Expert knowledge of Server hardware and monitoring concepts related to the same.
• Working knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools like OP5 & Nagios would be desired.
Primary Roles & Responsibility:
• Take the technical responsibility for implementing our IT Infrastructure projects and products;
• Coordinating the delivery with the project members and system partners of the commissioning of servers, storage solutions, and the remaining scope of the IT infrastructure;
• Assisting the project lead with the project delivery, identifying resource and material requirements, and executing the individual process steps according to plan.
• Implementing complex server/client/storage/network structures
• Testing the implementation of the IT solution prior to shipment
• Guiding the Installation phase, configuration, and commissioning of the above-mentioned solutions. Performing fault analysis on these systems to enable the engineers.
• Support virtualization, Windows, and Linux related topics.
• Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues & escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
• Excellent organizational, and support case management skills. A successful communicator at all levels using all media, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience providing end-user support in a high-availability, mission-critical support operation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within and outside the organization.
• Strong knowledge of standard hardware & software configurations, Storage, and Computing preferred.
• Demonstrates skill, knowledge, and understanding of company, products, job duties, and appropriate work methods.
Certifications:
• MCSA/MCSE
• VCP-DCV certification is must. Passing from within past 3 years.

The IT infrastructure is an integral part of the automated material handling systems that we provide to our customers. The ICT projects department develops the IT infrastructure products and processes used for the customer implementations, implements various customer solutions worldwide and helps the support departments with the lifecycle management of the customer thereafter. You will play a significant role in our delivery of our diverse services.

You will work closely with fellow ICT engineers that are responsible for the product development and / or the service and support of the customer systems.
