Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-disciplined IT Support Engineer to join our close-knit team in Mangere, Auckland. As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide both 1st and 2nd level IT support across our APAC sites, serving various teams including Manufacturing, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd level support for end-users, addressing complex and challenging issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Collaborate with IT teams to design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Drive IT asset lifecycle management, playing an integral role in identifying and proposing solutions and managing upgrades.
Collaborate with HR and Team Managers to assess and define end-user needs, managing all aspects of IT related to onboarding and offboarding.
Own the delivery of infrastructure projects, collaborating with stakeholders and team members to ensure outcomes are achieved.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft Certified Professional) are advantageous.
Proven experience in IT support, particularly in 1st and 2nd level troubleshooting.
Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
Experience with IT tools and software such as Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and remote desktop support applications.
