Pharma IT Support Specialist/Technician

• Experience: 3+ years in IT support, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
• Educational Qualification: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Job Summary
• Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
- Configure and maintain computer systems, devices, and peripherals.
- Ensure system security, backups, and disaster recovery solutions are implemented and maintained.
- Participate in system validation, verification, and compliance processes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems and processes.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, switches, routers).
- Oversee IT inventory and ensure effective asset management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, Manufacturing, and Regulatory departments.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical IT operations.
- Participate in project planning, management, and implementation.
• Skills and Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Familiarity with system security protocols and disaster recovery practices.
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot IT infrastructure effectively.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and training skills.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and teamwork abilities.
• Other Requirements
- Availability for 24/7 on-call support.
- Proven track record in IT support for pharmaceutical environments is highly preferred.
