Job Description
Benn DeLeon Engineering is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented IT Support Technician to join our Sydney team. As a growing engineering organisation, we rely on stable, secure, and efficient technology to support our design, project management, and operational activities. This role is responsible for maintaining day-to-day IT operations and ensuring that staff have reliable access to the systems and tools required for their work.
The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical support, assist with infrastructure maintenance, and contribute to a structured and professional IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level and second-level technical support to office staff and project teams
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
Support user account management, permissions, and access within Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
Assist with email configuration, file sharing, and collaboration tools
Maintain and monitor office network performance and system availability
Support engineering software installations and updates as required
Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and security checks
Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and technical documentation
Escalate complex technical issues to external vendors or senior support when necessary
Required Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in an IT Support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support role
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking principles
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and user support
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Professional communication skills and a service-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritise tasks effectively
Relevant IT certification or technical training is advantageous

Pay: $81,640.00 – $84,523.76 per year
