About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on and technically proficient IT Systems & Infrastructure Administrator to manage and maintain our office IT environment. This role requires strong experience in Linux systems, hardware troubleshooting, and server management. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and administer office network infrastructure including switches, Wi-Fi access points, and firewalls.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for office hardware such as computers, printers, and other peripherals.
• Manage and maintain physical compute and database servers.
• Oversee and maintain the office email server and other software services.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and security of infrastructure.
• Perform routine maintenance, backups, and updates on all systems.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Instantiate and manage cloud infrastructure for various services
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar IT support or system administration role.
• Strong expertise in Linux environments—command-line proficiency is essential.
• Experience working with and managing databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Solid understanding of network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls) and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience managing and supporting email servers and other enterprise software systems.
• Experience working with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud etc. for compute, storage, API deployment etc.
• Ability to independently handle issues, prioritize tasks, and work across multiple systems.
