Experience as a business analyst translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements in an enterprise IT environment
Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures.
Experience in a project management role.
Experience in facilitating and managing business process development and process re-engineering workshops and sessions.
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
Experience successfully implementing IT solutions in an environment with project resources from across multiple teams or organizations.
Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting business and technical documentation.
Experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders including vendor(s) and across departments.
Experience coordinating development and implementation of governance and issue resolution processes to improve Software Asset Management or a
Software Catalogue for End User Workstations, in an environment of similar size and complexity as the Government of Alberta.
Examples of results can include:
Improve packaging software/certification workflows, clean up / improve software practices; Software replacements/refresh working properly; Break/fix processes effective; Software is license compliant; Consistent (single or as required) software versions in catalogue; Software owners identified; Software standards clear; Provide vendor direction on software standards; and Enhance ticketing portal.
Experience coordinating IT infrastructure projects for Government of Alberta, either working directly for GoA, or for vendors supporting projects for GoA.
Experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the organization, including executive level.
Experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience leading change management and communication planning.
Experience working in an enterprise architect environment.
