Responsibilities:
IT Support: Provide technical assistance and support for both hardware and software issues encountered by users. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize downtime.
Network Management: Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Ensure network security and optimize performance.
Server Administration: Administer servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and applications. Monitor server performance and implement necessary upgrades.
Electrical Line Work: Utilize expertise in electrical line work to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within the organization. This may include working with power distribution systems, cabling, and other electrical components.
Infrastructure Planning: Collaborate with team members to assess current IT infrastructure and develop plans for future improvements and expansions. Recommend upgrades and enhancements to meet evolving technological needs.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when performing electrical line work. Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff members on IT systems and procedures. Help users understand best practices for utilizing technology effectively and securely.
Requirements:
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks. Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Electrical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in electrical line work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in IT and electrical work are highly desirable, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Electrical Technician certification.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts.
